Speaking of Rune Factory 2, IGN has videos galore to sate our hungry curiosity on this upcoming RPG-meets-farming-sim. From what we've seen, the gameplay looks exactly the same as it did in the first title. In fact, most things about Rune Factory 2 are very similar (or at least, familiar), including the somewhat tiring and cliched amnesia-based storyline. The only major differences we can discern at this point are that the game includes voice over work, as well as an intriguing twist: in the sequel, you get to experience two generations of factoring runes, since you eventually take over as your character's offspring. Even so, if you disliked the first game, Rune Factory 2 doesn't seem to offer anything worth making you reconsider the franchise. On the other hand, those of us who enjoyed the original will be pretty set this fall.Check after the break for some more gameplay videos.
